Larry was real gentleman who was generous in every way. It is fair to say that to Larry, there were no strangers, just friends he hadn’t yet met. We shared a love of everything Grateful Dead. I recall with fondness attending Dead and Company concerts with him as his guest, as we all were. I remember a concert at Fenway, on the lawn. The Band came back for an encore and Larry and I tried to guess what they would play. I don’t recall the name of the song but I do remember that Larry’s guess was right! It wasn’t Ripple, but it should have been. Fare thee well Larry.
